TECH NOTES
This is a 1/35 WWII German Kubelwagen Pkw. K1 Type 82 Multi-Purpose Light
Vehicle Kit from Tamiya.
It’s based on the “Volkswagen – people’s car”, seated 4 people, and used
on all fronts of WWII, it proved to be a durable vehicle with a 985cc rear-
mounted engine and sturdy torsion bar suspension system.
FEATURES: Detailed assembly and painting instructions included.
Highly detailed 1/35th scale plastic kit for static display.
Over 70 parts in tan plastic: solid plastic wheels with separate
inside hubs.
Winshield is made from a die cut butyrate sheet.
Detailed suspension and chassis bottom – includes exhaust system.
Detailed interior: instrument cluster, steering wheel, seats, driver.
Exterior details include headlights, windshield, and optional
position passenger doors.
Note: this is the brand new Kubelwagen tooling and repalces the old
edition.
